Hi all,

i've downloaded the latest version of typo3, and would like to install it under an apache server. Please could anyone help me with the procedure (apache configuration). In this document http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/Getting_started they talk about IIS configuration, but not of apache. Any other information to allow me to run typo3 under easyphp will be very appreciate. Thank you.

Please create a section on Requirements

I would appreciate if there is a section on Requirements / Prerequisites. I am quite novice (now after some month of activity - a little less) and have installed it locally under XAMPP. Worked fine in general. Now in transferring the site to the host, I am experiencing issues as some of the required software is not installed on the providers host. In my case it's about freetype, but I don't know if there will be more.

With such a "Requirements" page I could informed the provider about the requirements upfront and request installation or select a proper provider.
