Hi Daniel,
since I don't have the extension key, I can't upload the tutorial. Also I still don't see why this kind of documentation needs to be in the extension repository. Here in the wiki is the best place for it to be...

Hi Daniel,
Could you help on German translation for TemplaVoila, manual ? The FTB manual in already in the Wiki.
Answer: too busy.
No problem, Daniel. I just wanted to know. ;-) Thank you.

> Could you find something about MediaWiki Categories ?
I've seen some categories link in my talk page. I've tested it, it's so simple and powerfull, I love it !
I've renamed the DocumentTeam category into DocTEAM. I propse to have Category defined at the top of the document, not in the bottom.
Thanks a lot, Daniel.

I don't understand what you mean by creating custom name space ?
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Custom_Namespaces, not very speaking to me, sorry.
I caught the tick about the Template you've setup.
Thanks,

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your message, please use my discussion page, because it notify me when I login.
I've looked at this language selector, seems really good, how does it work ? Could you write something about its setup in the Alternative Language page, please.
I found it in the Typo3Wiki_bugs_and_suggestions page.
Continue to look for wiki feature, it can be useful. :-)
Hi Daniel,
I've read you on my User page, but I'm not sure to understand what you are speaking about language selection.
Could you explain, and give me URL to other tools, please ?
Also, for macro, please read the MediaWiki doc. I'm relatively new to Wiki software and don't know all good stuff, yet. :-)
By the way, I'm still a wiki user, it's not me who's runnig this software nor me who's choosen it. But it seems good.
You can use the Typo3Wiki bugs and suggestions to send request. I'm following all changes made in this wiki and will notify the right person involved, if needed.
Regards.

Hey, Sylvain, thanks for the links. I'll check them out. And'll add the feature-whishes to that list. I looked at the german main-page. The page-titles are in good german. You did it really good. I add a section for translation-whishes. Because there's not much time left in the moment doing stuff here ;-)

Still dont get it :( Your language selector, what does it do. Can i change the whole interface language with it ??
No :-) It's just for simplifying the navigation between several translations of a page. We can't use the same technic like wikipedia does. So we use that solution. If you want to use it in your own wiki you just can add it to pages in the default languange.
Sebastian
Hi, I am very interested in this language links, maybe can you contact me by icq 133307968, by msn: msn.2.kurfuerst@spamgourmet.com or by mail sebastian(at)garbage-group(dot)de , i didnt really get how to do these language links :) Thanks a lot! --kurfuerst 00:18, 6 Nov 2004 (CET)
Also, Patrick posted that in the ML:
Wikipedia Extension for FireFox http://www.bananeweizen.de/
Features:
- supports all standard formatting commands
- formatting works on selected text or without any selection
- commands available via context menu and toolbar
- dialog based creation of tables, image links and links
- many special characters available via menu
- locale specific templates
große mehrspaltige Tabellen
Hi Daniel,
Kannst Du mir helfen?
danke & gruß, martin
Yes, das geht morgen. Muss jetzt erstmal weg. Daniel
What's "extension documentation"?
Hi Daniel, Long time to see. I'm trying translating the document "Documentation workflow" to Japanese, but I don't know "extension documentation" which has a missing link. If you don't mind, would you let me know what it is?
Regards.
--Aobara 11:36, 3 March 2007 (CET)
Hi Aobara, no, don't translate wiki-documents like that, because that's waste of time. Better translate
- localconf-files of TYPO3-extensions into japanese, because that's good for users of TYPO3
- pages what are ongoing projects if that makes sense.
kind regards, --Daniel Brüßler 19:23, 3 March 2007 (CET)
Hi Daniel, Thank you for your advice.
I'd like to do so if the translation team open the way. Anyways translating anything into japanese will be helpfull for japanese users, I think. You know the case is different between in Europe and in Japanese. Most japanese are still something newbie like me:-)
Regards, --Aobara 12:04, 4 March 2007 (CET)
We in germany have it longer, we're called "engineers". But you japanese guys are also good engineers. So I'm shure you dig deep in it, too.
Is it right, that just some japanese speak english? --Daniel Brüßler 19:00, 4 March 2007 (CET)
Thank you for your efforts about the bot-trap, I’ll do whatever I can to support this wiki! --Aobara 14:06, 7 April 2007 (CEST)
enable pdf upload to the wiki ?
Hi Daniel,
after a presentation at the t3dd last week we thought about uploading the slides to the wiki. Do you think its ok to enable pdf and perhaps open office formats for uploads to the wiki ? Greetings from Bamberg --MartinMai 11:31, 1 May 2007 (CEST)
Hi Martin, now you can upload all openoffice-documents, PDF, and MS-stuff example: media:!test.pdf --Daniel Brüßler 00:07, 2 May 2007 (CEST)

English Tutorial
Hallo Daniel,
ich hatte meine tutorial version noch nicht reingestellt, da ich Sie noch fertig stellen wollte, habe ich jetzt gemacht.
Viele Grüße,

Hi again!
The thing is, I don't see a necessity to use extensions for this kind of documentation. The Wiki is much more suitable, so anyone who sees an error can correct it or add information to the page as needed. The use of the extension limits changes to one person.
Anyway. My Tutorial skips some parts of marliesc and adds some, but in general it is more up to date and focuses more on users with less technical knowledge. I also try to stick to Typo3 terminology.

One more thing: I started a discussion about the riddle: Help_talk:Contents, can you help out?
publish
hi!
you wrote, that you can publish the document with the DocTeam. Please do so, whatever you think is nescessary. Like I said, I don't see why anything else other than the wiki is needed. But if you feel like it, go right ahead, it's open-source, right? ;) Cheers eikaa
