Outlook

Design

Example Start site ... TODO's aren't done! ...
Welcome Page (No BTN selected)
Welcome Page (BTN selected)
Welcome Page (Special AJAX-Searchbox)
Welcome site with the Feedback included ... (My personal feeling ... old one was better.)
  • The new typo3.org will look much like the old one. The design is more of a makeover to align things to a clearer grid.
  • Sections of the website will have their own startpages with a more emotional way of guiding the user to the content he/she needs
  • guided tours will be added
  • I think we need more contrast in the Menu ... white on orange doesn't work well ...

_

TER

  • The TER will get a whole new look
    • Extensions will be tagged in order to get more transparency
    • Extensions that are not tagged within a certain timeframe will be removed from the default view in both TER and EM
    • The "Extensions" page will get a new look (CT/Tasks_on_TER) making searching and comparing extensions much easier
  • Extensions will be translated again
  • Extensions need an english manual to be "STABLE"
  • When extension keys are registered, the user will have to possibility to request an SVN account as well as a forge project
  • Extensions or extension versions may be removed from TER
  • Extensions will get their own RSS feed
  • Extensions will get a commenting system much like amazon or eBay. Users may rate comments and if a comment got rated beneath a certain threshold the comment will be removed from the default view

New features

  • The Who-is-Who feature will connect people within the TYPO3 community
  • Participation page, if users seek help developing their extensions, translate manuals etc.
  • All new search functions
  • QuickTour > http://celumimagine.com/tour_de.htm

Stuff removed
