WiFi

Our hotel offers WiFi for free. Access data you'll get there.

We will have our own WiFi "on top", like the two years before, because we know that ~40 nerds can harm the Internetconnection of holiday-hotels in rural regions! ;) (Remember: each of us brings at least two internet-capable devices ...)

Accessdata for our dedicated "T3BOARD-WiFi", if available, will be handed during dinner/keynote on Saturday. If you need the credentials in advance, just contact me (@bastianbalthasarbux) on slack!

Sledding: detailed information

Rough schedule:

  • Dinner at 19:15 CET (sine tempore!)
  • Sledging / tobogganing Night: We meet at Hotel Cèsa Tyrol parking lot, frontside, at 20:50
  • We need to build car-pools, to get to Pozza di Fassa (~ 10km from Canazei).
  • We leave NOT LATER THAN 21:00 CET!
  • We get picked up in Pozza di Fassa (~ 10km from Canazei) at 21.15 CET with snowmobiles!

Costs:
€ 15,- per Person for going up one time with the snowmobile and going down with a seldge. Sledge-rental is included!
++ Our arrangement includes: Everyone has to buy a beer, schnapsl or something like that on the hut (if you want some food that's possible too), which was not a problem the last years ... ;)
Basic price will be collected by Clemens the days before!
About the run:
The toboggan run is 7.1 km long, the lower end is at an altitude of 1310m above sealevel, the higher end at 1811m which means a difference of more than 500m.
On top there is a hut where we will have some good time, before going down on the sledges.

Equipment:

  • If you have, bring your headlight. I have two, so I could lend one.
  • Boots, sturdy shoes with some profile and water proof of course. Snowboarders very often use their softboots, if they have, and that's ok.
  • Your trousers and your jacket you use for skiing as well will be ok, girls/ladies often need a scarf too.
  • If you've got some brain - protect it by using a helmet!
  • Gloves.
  • Ski goggles if you've got some with clear/light glasses.

How to get there

Coming from Austria, Switzerland or Germany, the best way to go will be via Brenner - Bozen. Leave the highway after Bozen at "Auer / Ora" and follow the signs to Val di Fiemme / Val di Fassa / Canazei (only the roundabout short after the exit is a little bit tricky, after that it will be very straight).
